We provide complete dentures for patients who are missing all of their upper or lower teeth. All our denture fittings are carried out by a friendly and caring team who will ensure you understand the entire process before they begin.
A full denture replaces all the teeth in a jaw. In the upper jaw the full dentures usually relies on suction. In the lower jaw the full denture relies on the bite and muscle manipulation to hold it in the mouth. Sometimes we leave specially prepared root stumps in the jaw and have the denture sit over it. When you loose teeth you also loose bone. By keeping the roots you keep bone which allows the denture to hold better. We can even put attachments in the roots to improve the situation. Implants and mini implants that can be placed into the bone with attachments, are excellent in holding full dentures especially in the lower jaw
A full denture is a removable appliance replacing all of the natural teeth and the associated tissues and is supported by the gums. Full dentures can also be retained by implants for better stability and function. We strive to provide the highest quality dentures in the North Shore.
